This course enhances your leadership skills to effectively manage challenging organisation transitions in specific, measurable and relevant ways. Knowing how to leverage your leadership style for transition

Building on advanced emotional intelligence techniques you will undertake a solid analysis of your style and how to make it more effective in managing stakeholders, virtual teams, and functional teams. Contrasting techniques for each group are explored and practiced, with clear steps to achieve measurable outcomes. Behavioural diagnostics tools and measures are explored and ranked for applicability in your business environment.

Implementing Strategy for Transition Leaders

We cover the elements of strategy implementation and alignment; exploring the links of strategy development with techniques of strategy performance metrics. Key learning will be on how and when to apply measurement tools, including performance management, culture change diagnostics and the Balanced Scorecard. What do they capture, what do they miss.

Transition Management Methods for Managers of Change

The areas covered are: theory and practice of culture change; change management diagnostics, tool and techniques; change management roles for change sponsors, change targets and change agents. We focus on how to set up and manage a transition change program and measure its success.

Stakeholder Management in Transition Programs

The areas covered are: the theory of stakeholder management, designing stakeholder maps, applying leadership techniques to managing stakeholders, building communication programs for stakeholders and measuring success in managing stakeholders.
